Welcome To Amani Children Home Nakuru
Amani children home is a Kenyan-based organisation that provides managerial oversight and financial support to less fortunate kids. We provide a home full of love to raise the kids whom may learn self-virtues, discipline, and to grow knowing God.
Amani works with our regional Social Welfare Office to keep children connected to their cultural backgrounds and natal communities. We believe in equal access to education, empowerment of marginalized communities, the decolonization of charity, and a brighter tomorrow where these children are the heroes of their own story.
More About Us
Amani Children’s Home’s core mission is to aid underserved children in their academic endeavours, emotional development, physical well being, through full-time residential care. Today, over thirty children and teens call Amani home, and more are brought in after being rescued. The children are from diverse ethnic and religious affiliations.
We are not an orphanage: Amani Children’s Home is a residential community centre for children whose parents have abdicated custody in a climate of personal hardship or abuse.
We support families: our ultimate goal is educational empowerment, reunification with relatives, and holistic healing.

abandonment. We manage to adopt them into our home and offer them foster care & education.
